The only state web portalMain tasks of the Electronic Services Department:
1. Generalization of practice on application of legislation regarding issues within the Department’s competence, development of suggestions for improvement of legislative acts, acts of the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, normative legal acts of ministries and their submission to the Minister of Finance of Ukraine;
2. Development of the draft laws of Ukraine, acts of the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, orders of the Ministry of Finance on issues within the Department’s competence;
3. Registration and accounting of taxpayers and single social contribution to compulsory state social insurance (hereinafter – the single social contribution), objects of taxation and objects related to taxation, organization of registration of the VAT payers, excise tax payers for the sale of fuel and ethyl alcohol;
4. Formation and maintenance of the State register of individuals – taxpayers, the Unified register of tax invoices, other registers, banks and databases within the Department’s powers, as well as ensuring maintenance of the Register of insurers;
5. Development of document forms on the taxpayers registration and accounting, access to public information, consideration of citizens’ appeals, provision of administrative services and other issues within the Department’s competence;
6. Organization of accounting of recording cash settlements technical means;
7. Organization of accounting of notifications from financial institutions regarding opening / closing of the taxpayers’ accounts and provision of notifications to financial institutions regarding registration of accounts at the STS in accordance with the procedure established by the Tax Code of Ukraine;
8. Organization of consideration of appeals from citizens and legal entities on issues related to the STS’s activities;
9. Consideration of appeals from citizens and legal entities on issues within the Department’s competence;
10. Provision of access to public information;
11. Organization of work on reporting acceptance;
12. Organization of methodological support of the Electronic cabinet;
13. Organization of interaction and exchange of information with the public authorities;
14. Methodological support of organization of services for the taxpayers and activities of the Taxpayers Service Centers;
15. Organization and control on the securement of administrative services;
16. Organization of personal reception of citizens by the STS’s leadership and officials of its structural units;
17. Provision of consultations within the Department’s competence regarding the tax legislation, single social contribution and other legislation, the control of which is vested at STS bodies;
18. Organization of work of the STS’s Main Directorates in regions and Kyiv city, the STS Large taxpayers office, STS Information and Reference Department (hereinafter referred to as the STS’s territorial bodies), provision of methodological and practical support to the STS’s territorial bodies, execution of work examination on issues within the Department’s competence;
19. Organization, coordination and control of activities of the STS’s territorial bodies with regard to their interaction with the state and local self-government authorities within the Department’s competence;
20. Composition of reports on the working indicators in directions within the Department’s activity;
21. Organization of record keeping and control over consideration of citizens’ appeals and requests for obtaining public information;
22. Organization of work on processing of the taxpayers’ appeals by means of communication regarding the status of reporting processing, registration of the tax invoices and other electronic services;
23. Organization of process of supporting electronic services for the value-added tax payers;
24. Organization of work on processing of the taxpayers’ appeals by means of communication regarding the status of processing of electronic VAT services;
25. Provision of creation and maintenance of registers, banks and databases;
26. Provision of exchange of documents and information with the state authorities, foreign state authorities, in particular the exchange of law enforcement and international treaties of Ukraine;
27. Informational and analytical support of the STS and automation of its activity;
28. Execution of information security measures within the STS information and telecommunication systems (hereinafter referred to as the STS ITS) and its territorial departments;
29. Execution of the anti-virus protection measures, cyber security and information technology security at the STS ITS and its territorial bodies;
30. Organization of the software development of information and telecommunication systems at the STS.
