Main tasks and functions of the Departmental Control Department

1. Implementation of departmental control over compliance with the legislative requirements, execution of official and functional duties at the STS’s apparatus and its territorial bodies;

2. Planning and implementation of control measures (audits) regarding the organization of work, execution of assigned tasks and functions at the STS and its territorial bodies;

3. Organization and conduction of audits (participation in audits), other control measures regarding the state of organization of work at the STS and its territorial bodies, if necessary with the involvement of employees of the STS’s structural subdivisions and its territorial bodies;

4. Organization and conduction of audits (participation in audits) of information presented in the print, audiovisual media, as well as received from the law enforcement agencies and other sources on the involvement of the STS’s officials and its territorial bodies in violations of applicable legislation, if necessary with the involvement of employees of the STS’s structural subdivisions and its territorial bodies;

5. Consideration and participation in consideration of appeals (complaints, applications, suggestions) within the competence, including repeated, from citizens, business entities, public authorities, people’s deputies of Ukraine and other, essentially raised issues, including legality of actions of the STS’s officials and its territorial bodies, provision of answers to them, preparation (if necessary) of conclusions, suggestions, etc .;

6. Analysis and monitoring of reasons that led to appeals (complaints) regarding the legality of actions of the STS’s officials and its territorial bodies, preparation of suggestions for their possible elimination, as well as initiation of prosecution of officials whose actions or omissions led to appeals (complaints), information in which is fully or partially confirmed, control over their implementation.
