Tasks and functions
Main tasks and functions of the Administrative Appeals Department:
Review of decisions of the STS’s territorial bodies during the administrative appeal procedure, namely taking control and consideration of the taxpayers’ complaints and the single social contribution on administrative appeals against decisions of the STS’s territorial bodies regarding:
determining amount of the taxpayer’s monetary obligations;
decisions and requirements for payment of debt (arrears) from the single social contribution to compulsory state social insurance;
resolutions of the STS’s territorial bodies in cases of administrative offenses within its competence;
representation of interests of the STS’s and its officials, it’s territorial bodies and their officials in courts and other bodies during consideration of disputes in legislative established order.
